MATTHEW KASKEL
TET (Wyoming Wildfire x Sunset Alpha)
Semi-evergreen, 7.5” flower, 5-way branching, 35 buds on a 37” scape.
I have named this huge, glowing orange flower to honor one of our greatest daylily hybridizers. A couple years ago while Matthew was visiting my garden, he fell in love with this flower due to its beautiful clean color and subtle, deeper orange eye zone. MATTHEW KASKEL holds its flowers beautifully on a very strong, thin, well-branched scape. Fertile both ways.

CLOUD BALLET
TET (Moment in the Sun x Winter Springs)
Semi-evergreen, 6.5” flower, 6-way branching, 30 buds on a 30” scape.
CLOUD BALLET is a beautiful near-white with an incredible contrasting green throat and a huge citron edge. CLOUD BALLET has been a garden favorite now for several years because of its nearly perfect form and extremely broad petals surrounded by a very large, ruffled chartreuse edge. CLOUD BALLET is proving to be an excellent parent for producing green edged flowers with excellent substance and perfect form. Fertile both ways.
$200

MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION
TET (Rita Sue x (Bella Sera x Tet Lavender Blue Baby))
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 30 buds on a 32” scape.
MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION is a very full-formed dark purple with a contrasting silvery-blue watermark and matching edge. MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION has been instrumental as a parent producing very large, full-formed near-blue flowers. Fertile both ways.
$150

FRANK’S ADORABLE CANDY
TET (Wild Cherry Roundup x Linda’s Magic)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 35 buds on a 28” scape.
With its deep rose eye and edge, FRANK’S ADORABLE CANDY is one of the most beautiful soft-pink flowers I have ever seen. One of the most striking features of this flower is that it has a beautiful yellow outer edge. The combination of pink, rose and yellow help to create one of the most beautiful flowers in the garden. Fertile both ways.
$150

FRANK’S HOT TAMALE
TET (Lava Flow x Prissy Girl)
Semi-evergreen, 5.5” flower, 4-way branching, 30 buds on a 28” scape.
FRANK’S HOT TAMALE is a brilliantly-colored orange flower with a large contrasting red eye and edge, while the brilliant gold throat helps give this flower the appearance of a ball of fire. This is a beautiful garden plant that commands everyone’s attention from several yards away. Fertile both ways.
$125

HEAVEN’S GATEKEEPER
TET (American Freedom x Mark Allen Carpenter)
Semi-evergreen, 6.5” flower, 5-way branching, 30 buds on a 30” scape.
HEAVEN’S GATEKEEPER is one of the most beautiful mandarin orange daylilies I have seen. This is a very formal, full-formed flower with an extremely large golden-tangerine ruffled edge. This makes a beautiful garden plant as it is very vigorous and reblooms two and three times every summer. Fertile both ways.
$150

ATOMIC GLOW
TET (Moment in the Sun x (Granny Smith x Linda’s Magic))
Semi-evergreen, 6.5” flower, 5-way branching, 35 buds on a 36” scape.
ATOMIC GLOW is a real show-off in the garden! The large golden butterscotch flowers have a brilliant glowing green/chartreuse overlay. ATOMIC GLOW has a distinct large contrasting gold ruffled edge and a very unusual glow that sets it apart from any in its color class. Fertile both ways.

SINGING WITH ANGELS
TET ((Sunday Sandals x Tet Connie Burton) x (Tet Siloam Ralph Henry x Cherry Valentine))
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 4-way branching, 28 buds on a 30” scape.
SINGING WITH ANGELS is one of the most perfectly-formed flowers we have seen so far. For several years, I have been working to create larger, more blunted sepals, and SINGING WITH ANGELS is one of the first tetraploids with this characteristic to be offered. The beautiful peach color in this flower is complemented by an intense burgundy eye and stitched edge. The throat is an intense, glowing olive-green that shows well as the flower opens flat from the center. Fertile both ways.
$200

ROSE COLORED GLASSES
TET (Royal Renaissance x Linda’s Magic)
Semi-evergreen, 7” flower, 4-way branching, 28 buds on a 30” scape.
This is one of the most uniquely-colored flowers I have seen with Linda’s Magic as a parent. There has been much interest in recent years in hybridizing daylily flowers to have a dark-colored edge but with no detectable eye zone. ROSE COLORED GLASSES is the first large flower I have seen that possesses this wonderful characteristic. The sepals and petals have a beautiful translucent quality that makes the flowers glow. The saturation of the deep rose coloring in the edge has proven to carry on to its progeny. I feel the color form of this flower is an important break in this new breeding direction. Fertile both ways.
$175

TEQUILA SUNSET
TET (Tet Connie Burton x Front Porch Swing)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 32 buds on a 32” scape.
TEQUILA SUNSET has a most beautiful different color combination where the sepals and petals are a deep, rosy coral with a brilliant contrasting orange watermark and edge. This flower has been one of my most productive parents in my pursuit of flowers with orange edges. Fertile both ways.
$150

BREATH OF FRESH AIR
TET (Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis x Moment in the Sun)
Semi-evergreen, 7” flower, 5-way branching, 36 buds on a 34” scape.
BREATH OF FRESH AIR is one of the most beautifully ruffled daylilies I have introduced. The flowers open early in the morning and are always among the prettiest in the garden. This magnificent flower is colored with a blend of pink and soft orange tones surrounded by a large flamboyant golden-yellow edge. BREATH OF FRESH AIR is a vigorous plant, producing two to three reblooms in a summer. Fertile both ways.

MARY ALICE
TET (Tet Siloam Ralph Henry x Cherry Valentine)
Semi-evergreen, 6.5” flower, 5-way branching, 30 buds on a 34” scape.
The morning I first saw this seedling flower, I knew I would be naming it for my little sister, Mary Alice. This flower is one of the most beautiful, full-formed, finished daylilies I have ever seen. It has an amazingly branched scape, forming a beautiful candelabra effect. The flowers are always held apart and the last flower is just as perfect as the first. My sister, Mary Alice, has always been the sunshine in my life. She is one of the most amazing, wonderful, Christian ladies you could ever meet. She has never missed a day checking on and caring for our mother, as well as being a wonderful, doting mother to Alison and loving wife to her husband, Donald Ray. I wish all of my friends would have the opportunity to get to know Mary Alice. I’m sure you all have family members you love and cherish as I do mine. My sisters are the most beautiful flowers in my life and I am very proud to have such wonderful daylilies to name in their honor. MARY ALICE has been the most sought after seedling by garden visitors since it first flowered, with its beautiful, clean, baby ribbon pink and a deep, contrasting raspberry-red eye zone and edge. It also has beautiful yellow stitching on the outer edge of the petals. The flower opens very flat, showing off its brilliant green throat. Fertile both ways.

BUBBLING UP
TET (Crazy Ivan x Bluegrass Music)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 32 buds on a 40” scape.
BUBBLING UP is the tallest eye and edged full-formed flower I have seen in cultivation. When BUBBLING UP first flowered, I was taken by its extremely clean near-white color with its black edge and large black eye zone. After taking a closer look, this wonderful seedling had a distinctly patterned eye - with the inner half of the eye zone being a beautiful black-red color, several shades lighter than the outer half of the eye. The green throat dramatically sets off the dark eye zone. Before deciding on “BUBBLING UP” as the name for this incredible daylily, I wondered about using the name “Black and White,” because when walking up to it, BUBBLING UP truly looks like a black and white flower. Two Springs ago, BUBBLING UP won best seedling at our Sunbelt Chapter Show. Fertile both ways.

CAESAR’S HEAD
TET (Prissy Girl x TET Mountain Almond)
Semi-evergreen, 7” flower, 4-way branching, 30 buds on a 35” scape.
This is a flower of extremely heavy substance. Its unique, very soft palomino base color is accented by its faint rose eye, and double rose and yellow edge. CAESAR’S HEAD opens flat from the base of the pedestal, exposing its huge waxy green throat. The large, blunt sepals contribute to this flower’s perfect form. This was easily one of the visitors’ top favorite daylilies this season. The unique color combinations make this flower a wonderful parent for breeding in many different directions. Fertile both ways.
$150

CITY OF NEW ORLEANS
TET (seedling x American Freedom)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 4-way branching, 28 buds on a 34” scape.
CITY OF NEW ORLEANS is an intense, brilliant tangerine-orange flower with the power to command your attention from clear across the garden. The seedling that is responsible for its beautiful, intense true orange color was a gift to me from Matthew Kaskel. CITY OF NEW ORLEANS gets its name from all the glitz and glamour I experienced on my first trip to New Orleans many years ago. This vibrant orange is very flamboyant with its ruffles and “Look at me!” presence. Fertile both ways.
$125

HOG HEAVEN
TET (Granny Smith x Eleanor Roosevelt)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 30 buds on a 28” scape.
This  brilliant chartreuse flower could have been named “Lemons & Limes!”  The brilliant lemon base color is completely overlaid with an intense chartreuse. The deep green throat radiates outward over the flower toward the magnificent and distinctive large green ruffled edge. This is the first introduction from Granny Smith, a parent that has been absolutely essential in my quest for large flowers with true green ruffled edges. HOG HEAVEN is a wonderful parent for fabulous green-edged flowers and excellent plant habit. Fertile both ways.
$200

HOLY WATER
TET ((Bela Sera x Vintner’s Treasure) x Rita Sue)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 32 buds on a 40” scape.
HOLY WATER gets its name from its reflective appearance, reminiscent of a deep pool of calm water. This gorgeous, pristine purple flower with its silver-blue watermark and edge holds its flowers high above its foliage. HOLY WATER has become a very important parent for me in my quest to increase scape height. This is a truly beautiful garden flower. Fertile both ways.
$125

KISS MY GRITS
TET ((TET Connie Burton x Sunday Sandals) x Crazy Ivan)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 30 buds on a 30” scape.
KISS MY GRITS has that beautiful full pansy-type form. Its base color is a magnificent, clean near-white, with a distinct red-purple stitched edge and a beautiful, clean red-purple eye that surrounds an intense glowing green throat. A wonderful parent with fabulous scapes, excellent plant habit and definite garden appeal. KISS MY GRITS has produced incredible progeny, and is still being used in my breeding program today. Fertile both ways.
$150

LA LA FABULOSA
TET (TET Lavender Blue Baby x Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 4-way branching, 28 buds on a 30” scape.
While walking in my garden this Spring with Kay Day and David Kirchoff, Kay grabbed my hand to stop me and said, “That is the most fabulous lavender color I’ve ever seen in daylilies!”  I joked awhile with her and she continued to use the word “fabulous” in describing this flower. The color is a true lavender with a very light silver watermark and distinctive silver edge. This makes a beautiful color combination. The flower color is so distinctive, it sets this daylily apart from any of the other flowers in the garden. Fertile both ways.
$100

ONE WAY HOME
TET (Linda Agin x seedling (J T  Davis x TET Connie Burton))
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 4-way branching, 26 buds on a 27” scape.
ONE WAY HOME is a beautiful light creamy-colored flower with exceptional form. This flower’s  wide, blunt sepals represent a very important feature I have been striving for in my breeding program. I feel, for large full-form flowers, it is very important for the sepals to help fill out and round out the flower. ONE WAY HOME is producing beautiful seedlings with this characteristic. Fertile both ways.
$150

PRICELESS
TET (Spanish Wedding Gown x seedling (best edge))
Semi-evergreen, 7” flower, 5-way branching, 30 buds on a 28” scape.
This beautiful rose-colored flower possesses exceptionally clean color with a large 1” to 1-1/2” ruffled gold edge. The garden presence of this huge, brightly-colored flower has made it a garden favorite over the last few years. This is one of the finest examples of the larger flowers in that it is the first of its type to be offered with such extremely clean and pure coloration. PRICELESS has proven to be an outstanding breeder, imparting its clarity of color, large size and extremely large ruffled gold edge to pastel, red and purple progeny. PRICELESS is a very important breeder for those breeding for very large flowers with large ruffled edges. Fertile both ways.
$300

SOUTHBOUND ODYSSEY
TET (Delta Blues x Doyle Pierce)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 4-way branching, 28 buds on a 35” scape.
SOUTHBOUND ODYSSEY is just that. This wonderful, soft rosy-coral flower has a beautiful violet-blue patterned eye with a darker reddish ring surrounding a deep apple-green throat. The petals are always rolled upward at the base, revealing the wonderful patterned eye zone on the sepals. The rolled petals form beautifully distinctive spatulated segments that command everyone’s attention when they see it. SOUTHBOUND ODYSSEY is proving to be an excellent parent, producing large blue-patterned eyes on spider type unusual forms, as well as large full-formed flowers. Fertile both ways.
$175

SUNSHINE ALL DAY
TET (Lava Flow x TET Connie Burton)
Semi-evergreen, 6” flower, 4-way branching, 30 buds on a 28” scape.
SUNSHINE ALL DAY is a beautiful, bright yellow flower with an amazing rose-colored eye and edge. The large green throat radiates outward, covering most of the eye. One characteristic SUNSHINE ALL DAY gained from Lava Flow is that the color intensifies during the day, making the flower just as pretty late in the afternoon as it is first thing in the morning. Fertile both ways.
$100

WEDDING GOWN
TET ((Michael Miller x Linda’s Magic) x (Glacier Bay x TET Siloam Ralph Henry))
Dormant, 6” flower, 5-way branching, 28 buds on a 28” scape.
This is the first pure white with a very slight pink undertone that I have seen introduced. Most whites (even the parents in the background of WEDDING GOWN) have yellow undertones. I feel this is a true breakthrough in getting us closer to pure whites. WEDDING GOWN is not only a spectacular flower in the garden, it is producing unbelievable whites and beautiful crystalline colors when crossed into other colors. Every WEDDING GOWN flower always opens perfectly flat. Fertile both ways.
